Roofing Services for Your Home
Most people reach out after something shows up: a brown ring on the drywall above a window, or shingle tabs scattered across the driveway after a squall. We handle roof repair, full roof replacement, roof inspections and storm damage repair, plus gutters and metal roofing. Each job begins with a look at the whole roof, because a leak at a pipe boot and a leak from rotted decking need very different fixes.

Roof Replacement
Full tear-off, deck repair, new underlayment, flashing and roofing installed by the same small crew from the first shingle off to the final sweep.

Roof Repair
Leaks, wind-lifted shingles, cracked pipe boots and failed flashing found at the source and fixed by the same people who inspected your roof.
Roof Inspections
A hands-on check of your roof covering, flashing, valleys and attic, with photos and a ranked list of what needs attention now and what can wait.
Storm Damage Repair
Wind-lifted shingles, torn flashing and lost ridge cap found, photographed and repaired by one small crew, with direct help for your insurance adjuster.
Gutters
Continuous aluminum gutters and downspouts sized to your roof's runoff, hung on hidden hangers and pitched to carry water away from your home's foundation.
Metal Roofing
Standing seam and 5V crimp metal roofs, with panels, underlayment and fasteners chosen for Florida heat, wind and salt air, installed by one crew.

About Roofing Palm Valley
We are a small roofing company, and we plan to stay that way. A small team means fewer handoffs and fewer people on your roof who have never seen it before. When you call back with a question, you talk to someone who was there.
Our work is roofs and the parts that keep water off them: shingles, metal panels, underlayment, flashing, ventilation and gutters. Salt air, heavy afternoon storms and hurricane-season wind are hard on all of it, so we pay close attention to fastener type, sealant and how each edge is tied down.

How a Job Runs From Your First Call
Here is what happens after you pick up the phone, start to finish.
- 1
Inspection on the roof
We walk the roof, check the attic if we can reach it and look at flashing, vents, gutters and fascia. You get photos of anything worth your attention.
- 2
A written estimate
We explain what failed and why, then lay out the repair or replacement with each item listed. If insurance may be involved, we tell you what we found before you decide whether to file.
- 3
Permit and scheduling
For replacements we pull the permit and set a start date. Material is delivered close to the start so it isn't sitting in your driveway for weeks.
- 4
The work itself
The same crew tears off, replaces any bad decking, lays underlayment, sets drip edge and flashing, and installs the roof. If something unexpected turns up, we stop and show you before going further.
- 5
Final inspection and cleanup
After the building inspector signs off, we walk the roof and yard with you, sweep for nails and haul away every bit of debris.
Why a Small Crew Makes a Difference
We keep our team small on purpose. You meet the people doing the work, and they stay on your home until it is done.
- 01
The inspector is on the install
The person who found the cracked step flashing is the one who replaces it. Notes and photos don't get handed down a chain, so the fix matches what was actually found.
- 02
Causes named before prices
We tell you why the water got in, not just where. A failed pipe boot, a missing kick-out flashing and lifted shingle tabs each leave a different stain pattern, and each calls for a different repair.
- 03
Photos of what we see
We photograph soft decking, rusted fasteners and torn underlayment so you can see the roof the way we do. Those same pictures help when you talk to your insurance company.
- 04
An honest repair-or-replace answer
If a roof has years left, we say so and price the repair. If the decking is soft across several sheets or the shingles have lost their granules, we explain why patching would only buy a season.
- 05
Your property protected
We cover shrubs and AC units and keep the driveway clear while we work. Before we leave each evening, a rolling magnet goes over the grass and beds so stray roofing nails don't end up in a tire or a bare foot.
What Moves the Price of a Roof Job
Two houses of the same size can price very differently. The roof's shape, what sits under the shingles and the material you choose all shift the number. Here is what we look at before we write anything down.
Every estimate is free and no-obligation, with each part of the job listed on its own line so you can see where the money goes. Financing is available if you'd rather spread out the cost.
- Surface area and slope
- Roofing is figured by the square, a 10-by-10-foot section of roof surface, so a bigger roof means more squares of material and labor. Steeper slopes need roof jacks and harnesses and slow the crew down.
- Condition of the decking
- We can't see plywood or OSB until the old roof is off. Sheets softened by long, slow leaks have to be cut out and replaced before new underlayment goes down.
- Material choice
- Architectural shingles, standing seam metal and exposed-fastener metal panels differ in material cost, install time and the trim each one needs.
- Complexity and penetrations
- Valleys, dormers, skylights, chimneys and plumbing vents each need flashing. A simple gable roof goes faster than a hip roof with four valleys.
- Permits and code items
- A reroof needs a permit and inspection, and Florida code can call for added items like re-nailing the deck or a secondary water barrier. We include those in the estimate.
- Gutters and ventilation
- Replacing gutters, adding ridge vent or fixing soffit intake at the same time changes the scope, though it often costs less than doing it separately later.
Common Roofing Questions
Do you charge to look at my roof after a storm?
No. We offer free post-storm inspections. We check shingles, flashing, vents and gutters, take photos and tell you plainly whether the damage is worth a claim or just a small repair.
Will you work with my insurance company?
Yes. On storm damage claims, we work directly with your insurance adjuster. If you'd like, we'll be on the roof when the adjuster visits and walk them through each spot we photographed. The coverage decision is theirs to make, and our job is to see that nothing we found gets missed.
Can my roof be patched, or is it time to replace it?
That comes down to the roof's age and how far the damage has spread. One failed pipe boot or a handful of blown-off shingles is a repair job. Granule loss over most of the surface, curling shingle edges or soft decking in several places usually points to replacement. We give you our honest read and walk you through the reasons.
Do you offer a warranty on new roofs?
Yes. We offer a no-leak guarantee on all new roof installations. We go over exactly what it covers when we review your estimate.
Is metal roofing a good choice for my home?
Metal handles wind and heavy rain well and reflects more heat than dark shingles. Near the coast, the panel coating and fastener material matter, since salt air corrodes the wrong hardware quickly. Our Metal Roofing page covers standing seam and exposed-fastener options in more detail.
Can I pay for a roof over time?
Financing is available. We can walk you through the options when we go over your estimate, so you can compare paying up front with spreading the cost out.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most shingle replacements on a typical single-family home take one to three working days, depending on size, pitch and how much decking needs replacing. Metal roofs and complex rooflines take longer. Rain can push the schedule, and we let you know if the start date changes.
